According to meteorological predictions, there is a potential for snowfall in the mountainous regions of North Bengal, including Jalpaiguri. The minimum temperature recorded in Jalpaiguri on Tuesday was 11.6 degrees Celsius, indicating the severity of the cold wave. The Meteorological Department anticipates a maximum temperature of 25.6°C, providing insights into the challenging weather conditions gripping the region.
